What Bilufoiy does

Getting paid

Bill a customer and follow the money until it arrives.

  • InvoicesBill a customer. Add items, GST and a discount, then send it as a link, on WhatsApp or as a PDF.
  • QuotationsPrice a job before you do it. The customer can accept it online, and an accepted quote becomes an invoice without retyping anything.
  • PaymentsRecord what a customer actually paid, in full or in part. The invoice balance updates itself.
  • Partial paymentsTake MVR 4,000 against a MVR 10,000 invoice and the remaining MVR 6,000 stays visible as owed.
  • Credit notesCorrect or cancel an invoice properly, instead of editing one you have already sent.
  • Recurring invoicesBill the same customer every week or month automatically, so a retainer never gets forgotten.
  • Payment remindersNudge customers about invoices that are due soon or already late.
  • ReceiptsEvery payment gets a numbered receipt you can send to the customer.

Customers

Who you sell to, and where each of them stands.

  • Customer listNames, phone numbers, addresses and TIN, kept once and reused on every document.
  • Customer balanceWhat each customer has been invoiced, what they have paid, and what is still outstanding.
  • Public invoice linkThe customer opens their invoice or quotation in a browser, with no account and no password.
  • Accept or reject onlineA customer approves or declines a quotation through that same link, and you are told straight away.
  • WhatsApp sharingOne tap sends the document link to the customer on WhatsApp.

Money going out

The other half of the ledger, and what makes profit and GST real.

  • ExpensesRecord what the business buys: date, supplier, category, amount and the GST on it.
  • Receipt attachmentsAttach a photo or PDF of the receipt, so the record holds up when MIRA asks.
  • SuppliersWho you buy from, with the full purchase history and total spent for each.
  • Claimable GSTMark which expenses carry GST you can claim back, and the GST summary does the arithmetic.

Products and services

Stop retyping the same lines on every document.

  • Saved itemsKeep your prices, units and descriptions in one place and pull them into any invoice or quote.
  • UnitsPick from common units — pieces, hours, square feet, bags — instead of typing them each time.

Reports and tax

What the business made, what it spent, and what MIRA is owed.

  • Cash positionOn the dashboard: money received, money spent, what is outstanding, and this month's profit.
  • Sales and revenueWhat you invoiced against what you were actually paid, for any date range.
  • ProfitPayments received less expenses recorded. Cash basis, so unpaid invoices are not counted.
  • Expenses by categoryWhere the money went — stock, rent, salaries, transport and the rest.
  • GST summaryGST you charged, less claimable GST you paid, and the estimated amount payable. A working for your return, not a filed return.
  • Outstanding and overdueWho owes you, and which invoices are past their due date.
  • By customer and by productWhich customers and which items actually bring in the money.
  • ExportDownload any list as CSV for your accountant, or print a document as a PDF.
